The Cayenne S E-Hybrid is the innovative trendsetter in the Cayenne family. It combines two of our favorite aspects: sportiness and the future. A parallel plug-in hybrid that boasts plenty of agility. After all, even when it comes to alternative drive systems, for us there is no alternative to sports performance.

 


 

Exterior.
The prowess of the Cayenne SUV is clearly reflected in the design: the front and rear sections are now sharper and even more sophisticated. The bonnet, front wings, main headlights and air intakes lend the car even greater presence. It is impressively athletic and muscular. The sporty side contouring and wheels with attractive styling serve to emphasize the car's dynamics. An impression that is confirmed by the daytime running lights featuring four LED spotlights fitted as standard, as well as the LED taillights and integrated tailpipes.

Interior.
The interior of the Cayenne SUV is virtually built around you. Everything you need is within easy reach. Practical and exclusively designed to suit your needs. The rising center console reduces the distance between the steering wheel and the most important vehicle controls. The multifunction sport steering wheel also speaks the language of motorsport. For added comfort, the seats are available with optional ventilation, even in the rear. The rear bench is based on the same design as the front comfort or sports seats and offers generous space for up to three adult passengers. For added practicality, the bench features fore/aft adjustment of 160 mm and a 40/20/40 split-folding facility.

8-Speed Tiptronic.
Thanks to a particularly wide ratio spread, the 8-speed Tiptronic S lowers fuel consumption â€" and increases comfort and dynamic agility. The low engine speeds in the higher gears reduce the noise level inside the vehicle. The 8-speed Tiptronic S shifts gear automatically and adapts to your individual driving style.

New features include the extended auto start/stop function. This cuts the engine not only when the vehicle stops, but also if you are approaching traffic lights, for example.

Steel Spring Suspension.
The steel-spring suspension meets high-level requirements in terms of performance, driving pleasure and off-road capability. Consistent lightweight construction ensures improved driving dynamics, greater fuel economy and enhanced comfort. The Heart Of E-Performance
The Car
Cayenne Charging.

The Cayenne E-hybrid can be driven by just the combustion engine, just the electric motor, or by both together. This level of performance is based on the high-voltage battery with lithium-ion technology. It has an energy capacity of 10.8 kWh and can be charged using a conventional socket in approximately 2.7 hours.* The battery is maintenance-free and comes with a six-year warranty.
In everyday driving situations, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid can typically cover 18â€"36 km** under electric power alone with a maximum speed of 125 km/h.

Using the Porsche Universal Charger (AC), you can charge your Cayenne S E-Hybrid using a conventional household or industrial electrical outlet. With the optional 7.2 kW on-board charger, the battery is fully charged in approximately 1.3 hours.

 

Driving Modes
Three Unqiue Modes Of Control.
1. E-POWER
  • E-Power Mode (electric driving) is activated as standard. Every journey starts with electricity alone
  • Fully electric drive with high torque electric motor for an intensive driving experience without using any fuel, e.g. for driving through town or on the way to work
  • With kick-down, the power available from the whole system can be called upon at any time
2. HYBRID
  • E-Power Mode (electric driving) is activated as standard. Every journey starts with electricity alone
  • Fully electric drive with high torque electric motor for an intensive driving experience without using any fuel, e.g. for driving through town or on the way to work
  • With kick-down, the power available from the whole system can be called upon at any time
3. E-HOLD
  • E-Power Mode (electric driving) is activated as standard. Every journey starts with electricity alone
  • Fully electric drive with high torque electric motor for an intensive driving experience without using any fuel, e.g. for driving through town or on the way to work
  • With kick-down, the power available from the whole system can be called upon at any time
4. E-CHARGE
  • E-Charge mode can be activated by pressing a button
  • The high-voltage battery is charged while driving by the combustion engine which generates more power (principle of changing load point)
  • Useful for charging while driving, e.g. on motorways, for instance when there is a city route coming up where you will want to drive on electricity
5. SPORT
  • In Sport mode, the boost is activated when the gas pedal position reaches 80% â€" combustion engine and electric motor develop the full performance potential together
  • For dynamic driving with a suitable gas pedal characteristic, maximum power and maximum torque
6. SPORT PLUS
  • E-Power Mode (electric driving) is activated as standard. Every journey starts with electricity alone
